Established in 2002, Cocentra is a rapidly expanding, highly innovative organisation. We work for the Government, Local Authorities, plcs and other businesses, SSAT, PfS and schools. More than 1 in 10 schools and 9 out of 10 Local authorities have used our services.

Our services break down into four major areas:

DETECT – organisation performance & culture through high value detection methods

SELECT – the best executives and senior staff for interim management placements

ADVISE – consultancy on strategic projects, culture, change management and communication

ENERGISE – delegates on courses and conferences that give lasting results

Wholly independent, we run high value strategic projects and deliver change programmes. We provide consultancy and advice to both public and private sector clients. We support this with leading edge organisational surveys and diagnostic tools. We often provide much needed advice and support to our clients through our interim management sourcing and resourcing services.

Over 95% of Cocentra's clients rate their experience of our services good or better than good. We believe no other organisational transformation and support services provider can match this.

We achieve this by combining the very best people, knowledge and skills from those in public and commercial services sectors. This means we are able to provide a broad range of expert support. Many of Cocentra's employees and Excellence Chain™ consultants have held directorships and senior posts in the public sector or worked as board directors in blue chip commercial organisations such as HSBC, ITNET plc, BskyB.

We deliver to high standards using our Cocentra PQM™ quality approach. Cocentra are members of the British Quality Foundation and have appeared as examples of good practice for London Excellence. Two of Cocentra's directors have led a subsidiary of HSBC to the UK finals of the BQF award.

We are also at the forefront of the transformational Building Schools for the Future programme which is the largest capital investment programme in Europe. We are playing a key role in helping to transform the vision, design and professional practice to reflect the 21st century. Our solutions are simple, powerful and usable.

Cocentra act as education advisers for the Partnerships for Schools framework agreement and are lead education consultants for major plc BSF construction, support and equity businesses. We have successfully completed LA visions and provided strategic support to PfS. We have also recently acted as strategic consultants for the DfES Capital Division for the Primary Capital Schools rebuild programme.

Our services also include support for school improvement and school self review, pre and post Ofsted advice for schools and LAs, advice on teaching and learning, project and interim management.

Our surveys (Future Proof Suite™) and other self-evaluation diagnostic tools (with the benefit of data from over 250,000 stakeholder views) help inform and measure organisational ‘soft’ KPIs. We are now able to produce Cocentra national benchmark data to help them transform organisational performance.

Our change management courses and conferences cover a very wide variety of interests including leadership & culture, learning & teaching, programme management, Ofsted, inclusion, behaviour management, designing the curriculum of the future and extended schools.
