In any walk of life, whether at work or simply shopping in a supermarket, we all recognise that without the right leadership and management even the simplist task can become difficult. It is no wonder then with all its complexities and challenges that school need both of hese skills in large measure just to do their daily work, let alone to meet changing demands and to meet some of he more difficult challenges.

We provide a number of advisory services to support schools in this area:

• Review of school leadership and management - We can conduct a review of leadership and management by visiting the school and meeting with key members of staff and other stakeholders. Such a review might include the use of our Whole School Package, which examines the views of all stakeholders on the key aspects of the school including the leadership and management, or it might include a focused leadership and management survey of the senior team and staff.

• Leadership and Management training - using either pre-written course material or a bespoke training programme.

• Temporary or additional leadership resources - we provide an Interim Management service specifically aimed at senior leadership roles in schools. Such resources can be flexibly used (full time or part time) to cover absences or vacancies or to provide additional resources in times of great change (e.g. a BSF new school build).

• Bespoke support package - We also offer mentoring and advisory packages, usually with advisers who have been head teachers, to deliver well defined support for head teachers and senior teams.
